ELIBIGILITY
All artists, 18 years or
older, resident ofMaryland
Virginia or Washington, DC. Artwork
should not
exceed 6 feet x 6 feet or weigh more
than 100
pounds. Because of space limitations,
we cannot
accept installation
art.
AWARDS
Awards totaling $1,000 will be made
by the Juror.
Three artists may be selected for a
group or solo
exhibit at
MCAC.
ENTRY
FEE
The entry fee for 1-3 pieces of
artwork is $20 for
current ~paid members and $25 for
non-members.
This is non-refundable. Make check
payable to MCAC.
ENTRY
PROCEDURE
Bring original artwork to MCAC to be
reviewed for
entry in the juried show. Artwork
must be dropped
off on either Friday, May 30, between
11 am and 4 pm
or on Saturday, May 31, between 11 am
and 4 pm.
PRESENTATION
All artwork must be delivered and
ready for
installation
with proper hanging devices. Please
do not use
saw-tooth hooks. MCAC reserves the
right to refuse any piece that is improperly
presented.

LIABILITY
All work will be handled with all
possible care.
MCAC will not be responsible or
liable for any loss
or damage. Insurance must be carried
by the artist.
AGREEMENT
Artwork must be suitable for
community viewing.
MCAC
reserves the right to reject works
not suitably presented
or considered unsafe. Entry into this
competition
constitutes an understanding and
acceptance by the
artist of the conditions set forth in
this document.
