Mattawoman Creek Art Center is a place
to celebrate the visual arts in a natural setting of
serene beauty.
THE
GALLERIES
The Art Center galleries are ideal
for showing three-dimensional pieces or hanging art.
Light and airy, the larger of the two galleries, with a
twenty foot soaring cathedral ceiling, faces the
Mattawoman Creek.
Floor space measures 1,100 square feet and available wall
space is 1,300 square feet. The smaller gallery has 500
square feet of floor space and 660 square feet of
hanging space. Floors through out the gallery area are
carpeted in a neutral gray and the walls are a gray
shade of off white. Both spaces are filled with natural
light, which is augmented with adjustable track
lighting.

Gallery - Civista Hospital in
La Plata
(The gallery is in the hall just beyond the main foyer

THE ARTIST
STUDIOS
MCAC now has three art
studios located upstairs in the Art Center for rent!
These studios are quiet, secure, and have great lighting
and exquisite views. They are centrally heated and
air-conditioned and have a shared bathroom and clean-up
room on the same floor. The rent is $130.00 per month
per studio with the first and last month rental fees
paid in advance. If you are interested, please contact
