WINTER ALL-MEDIA MEMBER
SHOW - February 26 - March 21
GUIDELINES:
- Artists may submit three
pieces of artwork for review and selection by the MCAC
Art Advisory
Committee.
- Label entry(s) with title,
artist’s name, phone number, medium, and
price.
- Original artwork only, two
of the three pieces must be for sale. MCAC retains 25%
commission on sales.
- Sold pieces must remain
until the end of the
show.
- All artwork must be
delivered ready for installation with proper hanging
devices, if applicable, (no saw tooth hooks). MCAC
reserves the right to refuse any piece that is
improperly presented or considered unsafe. Refer to MCAC
framing standards.
- No artwork will be selected
that has been shown at MCAC within the preceding
twelve months. Artwork cannot go from gallery to gift
shop or visa versa.

DATES:
Saturday, February 20, (11:00 a.m. to 1:00
p.m.) and Sunday, February 21, (12:00 p.m. to 2:00
p.m.)
RETRIEVAL DATES: Sunday, March 21,
(4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.) and
Monday,
March 22, (11:00
a.m. to 1:00 p.m.) No art will be released
before the close of the
show.
ENTRY FEE: $3.00 per
piece for members or membership fee and per piece cost
for non-members.
Exhibiting
artists are needed as docents. Bring
your calendar and be prepared to sign up for a
date when your work is delivered. A date
to docent either for this show or for a future show will
be required.
Contact the Art Advisory Committee if special
circumstances exist that you cannot docent.
LIABILITY: All work will
be handled with all possible care. MCAC will not be
responsible for any loss or damage. MCAC will not be
responsible for work left after retrieval dates. After
30 days the work will become the property of
MCAC.

Invitation to MCAC
Artists The Art Advisory Committee invites
MCAC artists to submit design or artwork to be
considered for the postcard announcements for upcoming
exhibitions. Please send images/photos/slides to the
MCAC Artist Advisory Committee, Attention: AAC
Chairperson PO Box 258, Marbury MD
20658 for consideration.
EXHIBITION
OPPORTUNITY FOR INVITATIONAL EXHIBITS The
Mattawoman Creek Art Center, located at Smallwood State
Park in Charles County, Maryland is seeking artists of
all media to exhibit their art. The Mattawoman Creek
Gallery is spacious; light filled and overlooks the
Mattawoman Creek. The Art Center is scheduling exhibits
for future shows. If you are interested in exhibiting,
please send 15 to 20 35mm slides or CD (compact disk)
representative of your work, and an artist statement
and/or resume to the address below. CD's should be in
.PDF or JPG format. Label slides with name, medium, size
of the original piece, and indicate top orientation.
Slides will be returned to applicants who include a
self-addressed and stamped envelope. If selected,
the artist will receive an information packet explaining
policies and procedures and an artist contract for
